You can use all of the authorization features of Acegi within portlets deployed into JBoss Portal. You can access the solution from here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/acegi-ext/

Kind Regards

Kenan Sevindik
http://ksevindik.blogspot.comKenan Sevindikhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15535786826129785961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148764803887665102.post-20724693055933042392007-08-08T14:57:00.000+02:002007-08-08T14:57:00.000+02:00Provide a more robust security administration. JSF+Portlet works ok (the JSR-301 specification is addressing this issue).
Now you have to find the perfect combination of JSF implementation + bridge, Facelets to work to build JSR-168 portlets.
The good news is that we already provided patches to Facelets and the Sun bridge on the issues we faced. It's getting there, in the meantime you need to stick with what works best for you. (In our case that was myFaces (JSF1.1 impl) with it's bridge and a patched Facelets http://repository.jboss.com/facelets/1.1.1-patched-jboss4.2/)Thomas Heutehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03126814940255643660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8148764803887665102.post-28017890988995650232007-07-27T04:11:00.000+02:002007-07-27T04:11:00.000+02:00Congrats on the new release.
